Rev. Bill Impey LEAD PASTOR
Pastor Bill is the Lead & Teaching Pastor here at Grace. His role is to cast vision, oversee the ministry staff, and teach at our Sunday worship experience. He is passionate about communicating scripture in a way that is refreshing and applicable to every listener. Bill earned his degree in Biblical Education from Multnomah University and has been an ordained minister with the Christian & Missionary Alliance since 1990.
Bill and his wife Leah have been married since 1986. They moved to San Diego to help Grace Chapel thru the process of turnaround in 2004. Pastor Bill & Leah have four kids; Matt (20), Drew (18), Claire (17), and Samuel (14). In his free time, Pastor Bill enjoys mountain biking, grilling, construction projects, 49er football, camping, reading, and building friendships.
Mark KarrisWORSHIP PASTOR
Mark is the Worship Pastor here at Grace. His role is to lead the community in extravagant worship, oversee and lead the worship team and teach on the occasional Sunday. He is passionate about creating sacred environments where people can authentically connect with God, self and others. Mark earned his degrees in Masters of Counseling from Alliance Theological Seminary; Master of Divinity from Drew Theological School and is currently pursuing his PsyD at Alliant International University. He has been ordained minister since 2010 and is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in the state of California.
Mark has been married to his beautifully amazing wife Bianca since 2010. He moved out here from NY while Bianca is a native San Diegan. Pastor Mark enjoys the best of San Diegan cuisine, hearing people’s sacred stories, devouring philosophical/theological/psychological books and marinating in the presence of God.
